Bharat Darshan All India Tour Photos
“Seeing is the Best way of Learning” the quote of our Honourable President motivated us for ‘Bharat Darshan – North India Circuit” which was 11 days and 10 nights tour and a journey of more than 7,500 kms of travel by rail and roads. Educational tour plays a vital role in the B-Schools. It is both educative and entertaining the students.
On 26th October 2017, seventy four students along with five staff boarded the Vaigai Super Fast Express. The parents waved hand and faces of the students were radiant with joy. We reached Chennai by 2.30 pm. The same day we boarded Tamil Nadu Express. It was a sleepless night since the students were overjoyed. The tour operators – Mr. Vivek, Mr. Ram and Mr. Nelson of Aspire Holidays briefed the tour itineraries.
On 28th October 2017, we reached Agra by 3 am. After refreshment in the hotel, we visited Taj Mahal. The students’ joy knew no bound when they saw the White Wonder for the first time in real. Post lunch we visited the historically famous places like Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. After dinner we travelled to Chandigarh by bus.
On 29th October 2017, we reached Chandigarh by 9 am. Breakfast was served in the hotel. We visited Rock Garden and Sukuna lake. The natural scenery were feast to the eyes and we all realized the poetic line ‘ A thing of beauty is a joy forever’. Post dinner we had a comfortable stay at hotel Blue Moon.
On 30th October 2017, we travelled from Chandigarh to Amristar. It was a 6 hours travel by bus. We had lunch in a paddy filed. At 4 pm we reached Wagah Border. The students ran for a kilometer to enter into the gallery. The students with patriotism applauded the BSF Personnel during lowering of the flags ceremony. On the same day we went to The Golden Temple. It was a great experience to have food at the Langar Hall. Roti, sabji, dhal and keer were served. On the same night we travelled to Manali.
On 31st October, we reached Manali. It took 14 hours from Amristar. We had a good South Indian breakfast at Mandi and lunch at Kullu. We reached Manali by 5 pm. The temperature was in minus degree. We had Campfire, dinner and sound sleep at Hotel Victoria Palace.
On 1st November 2017, after breakfast We visited Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Temple and Vaishnavi Temple. Post lunch we went to Rohtang Pass and witnessed snow fall. All turned out to be children in making ice ball with snow. For all of us it was the first time in our life to see, touch and play with snow. Everyone took photographs to keep the memories forever. On the same day we departed to New Delhi.
On 2nd November 2017, we reached New Delhi. After refreshments in the hotel we went to the Indian Parliament. The students of our B-School had the privilege to visit the Galleries of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and the Parliament Museum. We had a great opportunity to have High Tea in the Parliament Canteen. After dinner we all went for shopping at Karol Bagh and purchased a lot for family and friends. We had a comfortable stay at hotel.
On 3rd November 2017, after breakfast we went to the historically famous monument – Qutb Minar and Nehru Planetarium. By evening 6.20 pm we all boarded GT Express and reached Chennai on 5th November 2017. Post lunch we boarded Vaigai Superfast Express and reached Madurai by 10.15 pm.
On the arrival at Madurai, parents welcomed their wards after a long trip. All the parents thanked the Management for organizing ‘Bharat Darshan’. Bharat Darshan was a great success and the students had unforgettable and wonderful experience and indeed it will be evergreen in their minds.
